It also offers benefits like blocking 99% of UV rays and reducing glare. While it's an entry-level film with decent heat rejection for its type, it's not as effective at rejecting infrared heat as ceramic films like XPEL XR or XR Plus.

It is often incorrectly assumed that window tinting merely exists to bring aesthetic value to all types of automobiles. While this is certainly a primary benefit of the best window tint film packages on the market, we at Diamond Detail & Tint LLC feel it to be too simple of an explanation and a shortcoming of all the reasons why you should consider professional window tint film installation for your ride. Yes, window tinting does give your automobile a sleek sports car aesthetic on its exterior, but there is so much more beyond the surface value!
First of all, an investment in a window tint film package from Diamond Detail & Tint LLC prevents extensive exposure to UV rays. UV rays from the sun degrade the interior of vehicles, causing fading in upholstery, vinyl, and leather. This then decreases the value of vehicles. Also, those same sun rays cause glare and impairs driver vision, which results in unintentional reckless driving and puts you and your passengers in danger. But with pro window tint installation from Diamond Detail & Tint LLC and our superior XPEL products that we trust, you no longer have to worry about these occurrences!
Thanks to Professionally installed XPEL Tint on your ride, you can rest assured that your auto interior and vision are fully protected. Also, window tinting is known to protect against potential theft and break ins. If you leave a purse or other valuables in your vehicle, it is difficult for thieves to see them from the outside with window tinting. Want to learn more? Whether you realize it or not, each state in our country has very specific window tint laws designed for the safety of drivers and pedestrians out in the world. If you are getting your window tinting service done in a different state, it is important to research your state’s specific laws to ensure the detailing shop complies with them appropriately. Here at Diamond Detail & Tint LLC, we have done our due diligence and extensive research for you so it is easy for you to understand the window tinting laws for the state of Wisconsin.
For all automobiles, which includes everything from sedans and compacts to SUVs and vans, the window tinting laws in Wisconsin are largely the same. The windshield allows for a tint above the manufacturer’s AS-1 line, also known as the windshield strip or sun strip. Front side windows must be no higher than 50% VLT while back side windows and the rear windshield cannot be above 35% VLT. VLT stands for “Visible Light Transmission,” which means that the front windows must let in at least 50% of light and the back side windows and rear windshield must let in at least 35% of light.
Also, all tinting must be non-reflective in the state of Wisconsin. While we at Diamond Detail & Tint LLC do have an XPEL Window Tint Film package that often boasts some metallic appearance, it is still well within the limits of what is legal in regards to window tinting in our state.
